A CREATIVE SPACE FOR YOUR IMAGINATION Located at 540 Main Street South, Southbury, CT, 06488 Come and explore a unique experience that gives adults and children the opportunity to create in a vibrant and motivational way. Gift Shop The Cottage at Main offers a uniquely different experience than most gift shops and as a member of the beautiful Southbury, Connecticut community we strive to make a positive impact with each experience. For CHILDREN & FAMILIES The Studio at The Cottage at Main, LLC, offers many varied activities for young children, tweens, teens, and young adults. We have special events geared toward placing your electronic devices down so that you can create a fun and unique piece of art with friends and family. These Children and Family Events will be held both inside the Studio and outside of the Studio, under our event tent. Classes will be offered at convenient times throughout the week, including special birthday party events. For safety purposes, all children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult 18 years of age or older. Sustainable Southbury is a 501(c)3 nonprofit environmental conservation organization. We focus on sustainable projects that promote energy efficiency, waste reduction, recycling, increasing clean energy use, and clean transportation to improve the quality of our air, land, water, and natural resources. Our work involves assisting, advising, educating, and driving local action in our town, businesses and community.

Newbury Musical Theatre Company, a not-for-profit organization, was established in 2008 with the goal of offering area talent the opportunity to hone performance skills, enjoy artistic camaraderie, and develop personal confidence while entertaining our community. Under professional direction, performers, musicians and crew members stage large scale, high-calibre musicals featuring a full orchestra. Past productions have included shows like Fiddler on The Roof, Shrek, Annie, Hairspray, Beauty and the Beast, Legally Blonde, Mary Poppins and this year... The Sound of Music.

Friends of Pomperaug Music supports the music program at Pomperaug High School in ways that Region 15 resources don't address, to keep music thriving at the school. Friends of Pomperaug Music, Inc. is a Connecticut 501(c)(3) non-profit organization formed in 1999 by Thom Thorndike, Kevin Kauffman and Tim Richards. They were concerned parents of Region 15 music students, who had the simple goal of providing opportunities for students to succeed through continuous excellence in music education.

The Southbury Women’s Club, a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization, is a local service organization made up of women of all ages with different backgrounds, and varied interests, who combine their time, talents and energy to enrich our community. Southbury Women's Club sponsors several fundraising events and activities throughout the year, such as the CT Arts & Eats, Operation Backpack, the Southbury Turkey Trot 5k & Kid's Fun Run, and An Evening with Santa. As a result of the collaborative efforts of our dedicated members, supporters, and sponsors, SWC has donated over $1.1M to local charities, scholarships and families in need with approximately 75% of all gifted funds being distributed within Southbury.

Based in Newtown Connecticut

Hearts of Hope Foundation offers hope to those experiencing grief and loss through counseling, education, and community service. Our Hearts of Hope Newtown, CT, Chapter, was formed following the Sandy Hook Elementary School tragedy. This chapter focuses on delivering Hearts of Hope's Community Service Program, both locally and nationwide, by creating and delivering Hearts of Hope gifts to those in need. Gifts are created by painting and decorating small handmade ceramic hearts. These hearts are accompanied by personal messages of caring and compassion. The chapter hosts events throughout the year, which are family-friendly and often pet-friendly. All are welcome to attend.
